Students who got failed in more subjects will only be awarded passing marks. A major decision was also taken regarding the improvers and repeaters. At the meeting, it is decided to offer two options to the students who wanted to take the exams for improvement:
- They will be awarded 3% extra marks in the subjects they want to improve.
- Students, who do not want to accept this offer of extra 3% marks, may appear in special exams. But the date for the special exams is not decided yet.
It was said in the meeting that the teaching process in public and private educational institutions across Sindh will be started after considering the situation of coronavirus. However, if private schools want, they can start online classes and for that they will be allowed to call teaching and non-teaching staff, but will have to fully comply with the SOPs issued by the Department of Health and the WHO.
