Government of the Punjab has lifted ban on ex-Pakistan leave for the provincial government employees and officers. The news has brought a wave of happiness amongst the government employees as it was suspended in the last month. But now the officials and employees of the Punjab Government can avail ex-Pakistan leave. According to a notification issued by the Principal Secretary Punjab Tahir Khurshid on Wednesday, the decision on lifting the ban was made on the directions of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
Leave ex-Pakistan is granted on full pay to a civil servant who applies for such leave or who proceeds abroad during leave, or takes leave while posted abroad or is otherwise on duty abroad, and makes a specific request to that effect.
It is pertinent to mention that the government had imposed a ban on ex-Pakistan Leave on the Punjab government officers and employees with effect from October 28, this year.
