Bangladesh announces MBBS and BDS Admissions on Scholarship for Pakistani Students

The government of Bangladesh has reserved 23 seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges in the country for Pakistani students. Admission will be offered to the selected Pakistani students and scholarships for the completion of the degree program will also be offered. Following is the official notification of the Ministry of Health, Bangladesh.

Please be informed that the Directorate General of Medical Education of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh has announced the admission of foreign students in Government Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2022,023. A total of 216 seats are reserved for foreign students this year of which 117 seats are allocated for SAARC countries and 99 seats are allocated for Non-SAARC countries under the Bangladesh Government's scholarship program.

 In addition to admission to Government Medical/Dental Colleges the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will consider applications of foreign students for admission to Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Bangladesh. A list of Government and Private Medical Dental Colleges and the allocated number of seats are mailable on the Website www.dame.eov.hd. For Private Medical/Dental Colleges maximum number of foreign students is 4596 of their total allocated scats.

Criteria and Procedure of application for foreign students are enclosed at www.dgme.gov.bd

Interested candidates have to submit an online application only through www.dgme.gov.be No hard copy of the application will be needed to submit to Bangladesh foreign missions abroad. The deadline for submission of online applications is 30 March 2023 for both Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges. No application will be considered after the deadline.
