Usman Bazdar has approved recruitment for one lakh vacancies in various departments across the province. Recruitment for one lakh posts on the special directive of Chief Minister Usman Bazdar will be in accordance with the recruitment policy solely on the basis of merit and proposed educational qualifications. Recruitment will be based on merit, education, and experience.
Chief Minister said that the Punjab government has decided in principle to recruit for one lakh posts in government departments. There should be no delay in salaries. Spokesman of Punjab government Hassan Khawar while briefing the media regarding the recruitment regarding vacancies said that out of 33 thousand vacancies in the school education department, 16 thousand vacancies were filled in the first phase.
According to the details, teachers will be recruited for grades 14 to 16. In the first phase, 16000 teachers will be recruited. Minister for School education department, Dr Murad Raas also confirmed the same.
1200 posts in Primary Health Care Department, 2900 posts in Specialized Health Care, 2600 posts in Higher Education, 3500 posts of College Teacher Interns, 1200 posts in Civil Defense, 4,300 posts in Prisons Department and 4800 posts of Patwaris will be filled. The Punjab government spokesman said that this journey of providing employment is starting with one lakh jobs. On administrative basis, transfer postings are the prerogative of the Chief Executive of the province. An officer who does not perform has no right to remain in office.
