Many social media pages are sharing fake news claiming that students are required to present COVID negative reports to sit in National MDCAT 2020. The news is fake and baseless as no such requirement is mentioned on the PMC website. Also, no one can impose such a tight requirement just less than a day before the test.
Also, PMC official Facebook page mentioned the same. The post reads as follows:
There is a false information thread on social media speculating that students appearing for the National MDCAT need to present a negative COVID-19 test to sit for the examination on 29th November 2020.
This information is false and baseless. To reiterate, only students who had tested positive for COVID-19 were required to submit their results to be eligible for the Special MDCAT examination taking place on 13th December 2020.
Hence all the students appearing in MDCAT 2020 are required to keep calm and prepare well for their test.
