Microsoft, in partnership with the Higher Education Commission Pakistan (HEC), will offer Microsoft certifications to Pakistani students. Students will be able to obtain the certifications while being at home. HEC and Microsoft have reached an agreement in this regard.
According to the details, Microsoft will provide certifications to 2000 students. Students who have registered for this facility will be provided free certification. This is a significant step in bridging the gap between education and employment. Now Pakistani students will be able to master vocational education at home during the epidemic.
Microsoft and HEC have been working to promote IT skills in higher education for over a decade. The current agreement between the two will apply to private and public universities and will provide a number of technical training opportunities to young people in line with international standards.
Students will be taught technical and IT skills as per a regular curriculum. Courses offered under this program including computer science, data science, and IT infrastructure. The MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certifications will also be available for the students.
