High Court of Balochistan - Vacancy Announcement

Applications are invited from eligible candidates possessing a Local/Domicile Certificate of Balochistan for initial recruitment to the post of Additional District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20) in the Balochistan District Judiciary under the Balochistan Judicial Officers Service Rules, 2021.

Job Details & Vacancies

  • Position: Additional District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20)
  • Total Vacancies: 15
  • Breakdown of Vacancies:
    • 10 posts for Advocates
    • 05 posts for Judicial Officers / Law Officers
  • Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible.
  • Age Limit: Between 30 and 45 years.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Law Graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Experience: Must have practiced as an Advocate for at least seven (07) years; OR holding a Judicial Office or serving as a Law Officer in BPS-18 & above for a period of not less than ten (10) years.

Required Documents (Attested Copies)

  • Verified educational testimonials from the concerned Board/University.
  • Attested and verified Local/Domicile Certificate of Balochistan.
  • Attested CNIC.
  • Fresh 01 passport-size photograph.
  • Valid Lower Court practicing License.
  • Valid High Court practicing License.
  • Fresh Experience Certificate issued by the concerned Bar Council, OR Fresh Service Certificate/NOC issued from the Head of the Department concerned along with previous appointment order(s)/notification(s).

  • Syllabus and Application Forms can be collected from the Examination Cell, Administration Branch, High Court of Balochistan, Quetta, or downloaded from www.bhc.gov.pk.
