The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council has extended the registration deadline for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026, providing additional time for students seeking admission to medical and dental colleges across Pakistan.
According to a public notice issued by PM&DC on July 8, 2026, candidates can now complete their online registration with the regular fee until July 13, 2026. Earlier, the deadline for registration with the regular fee was July 8.
The council has also announced that candidates who miss the regular deadline will be able to register with a late fee until July 18, 2026.
The extension was granted with reference to PM&DC’s earlier public notice issued on June 19, 2026. The revised schedule aims to facilitate students who were unable to complete the registration process within the previously announced timeline.
PM&DC has advised all prospective candidates to regularly visit its official website, www.pmdc.pk, for further updates and detailed instructions regarding the MDCAT examination.
The decision comes as a relief for thousands of students preparing for MDCAT 2026, as it offers an extra opportunity to complete the registration process and avoid missing the examination due to procedural delays.
MDCAT is the mandatory entrance examination for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in Pakistan, and timely registration is essential for participation in the test.
