Islamabad high court has barred private schools from increasing fee. Now private schools cannot increase fee on their own. The authority of fee increase is given to Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority PEIRA.
Islamabad High Court Justice Aamir Farooq heard the case against private schools for raising fees. The court, in its ruling, barred private schools from raising fees voluntarily. The High Court has granted PIERIA the authority to determine the fees for private schools. The court directed that the PEIRA should determine the fee for private school.
