The University of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Swat, in collaboration with the Cambridge Trust offers fully funded scholarships to Pakistani students to pursue their doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge. The fully funded scholarship for Ph.D. studies at the University of Cambridge is funded jointly by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Cambridge Trust. ]The University of Cambridge is now (as of September 1, 2022) accepting applications for the Fall (Michaelmas) 2023 intake. All prospective Ph.D. scholars need to apply to the University of Cambridge directly and indicate their interest in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cambridge Scholarship at the time of application. All successful graduates of the program will be expected to serve as a member of the faculty at a relevant department at the University of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Swat. The scholarship covers the following expenses: Full course fees per year Maintenance allowance per year is sufficient to support the student; One airfare per year for a return flight to Pakistan; Immigration Health Surcharge per year; Visa application fee (one-off cost) KP Cambridge Scholarships is offered for Civil engineering including architecture and hydropower engineering Computer systems engineering including data sciences, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cyber security. Electrical Engineering Material sciences and engineering Biological Engineering includes cell and molecular biology, genomics and proteomics, synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, and fermentation technologies. Manufacturing engineering KP Cambridge Scholarship Eligibility Criteria Applicants are required to have applied to the University of Cambridge by the December/January deadline (depending on the subject/course) and have received an offer to pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge starting in the Fall of 2023. The area of research has to fall under any of the listed subject areas and disciplines. The Applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan and be willing to serve at the University of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Swat upon return.
