Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technology (KICSIT), Kahuta, a campus of the Institute of Space Technology Islamabad, is inviting applications from highly motivated and result-oriented individuals for the following academic positions:

Available Positions:

  • Assistant Professor (Computer Science): Requires a PhD in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Assistant Professor (Computer Engineering/Software Engineering): Requires a PhD in Computer Engineering/Software Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university. Must possess a valid PEC registration number.
  • Lecturer (Computer Science): Requires a Master's degree (MS/M.Phil or equivalent) in the relevant field with a first division from an HEC-recognized institution.

Important Instructions:

  • All positions are purely contractual but likely to continue for an indefinite period.
  • Candidates with O/A Level qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate from the IBCC.
  • Government employees must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC at the time of the interview.
  • Only one second division is allowed throughout the entire academic career.
  • The institute reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any post without assigning a reason.
