Office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohat - Job Advertisement

Applications are invited from suitable candidates having domicile of District Kohat for various vacant positions in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohat. The recruitment will be conducted through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).

Positions and Eligibility Criteria

• Computer Operator (BPS-16) (1 Post - Open Merit)
  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years
  • Domicile: Kohat
  • Qualification: At least Second Class Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (BCS/BIT four years or equivalent Computer Science Degree from a recognized University) OR At least Second Class Bachelor's Degree (14 Years or 16 Years) from a recognized University with a one-year Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
• Junior Scale Stenographer (BPS-14) (1 Post - Open Merit)
  • Age Limit: 20 to 32 years
  • Domicile: Kohat
  • Qualification: At least Second Class Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. A speed of 50 words per minute in shorthand in English and 35 words per minute in typing. Knowledge of computer usage in MS Word and MS Excel is required.
• Junior Clerk (BPS-11) (4 Posts - Open Merit: 1, Minority Quota: 3)
  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
  • Domicile: Kohat
  • Qualification: FA/F.Sc with Second Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board, and a typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• Patwari (BPS-9) (2 Posts - Open Merit)
  • Age Limit: 18 to 35 years
  • Domicile: Kohat
  • Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent qualification, and must have passed the Patwar Examination.

Terms and Conditions

• All candidates are allowed to appear in the ETEA computer-based screening test. However, if any candidate is found ineligible during the verification process, their candidature will be cancelled.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
• Recruitment will be made on a purely merit basis in accordance with the prevailing rules of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Candidates will be notified about the test/interview via SMS. Therefore, candidates must keep their mobile numbers active and unchanged.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates must apply online through the ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk).
2. After filling out the online application form, candidates must download the deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee at any branch of UBL Bank or through EasyPaisa.
3. Keep the original deposit slip safe. Do not send any physical documents/testimonials to the ETEA office.
4. The online application portal will be active from 05 September 2026.
5. The last date for submission of online applications is 25 September 2026.
