Pakistan Army Recruitment 2026 - JCO & Soldier Positions
Pakistan Army has announced fresh recruitment for Junior Commissioned Officers (Naib Khateeb) and Soldiers across various trades. Eligible Pakistani male candidates, including residents of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, are invited to apply for pensionable military service.

Eligibility Criteria
- Gender & Marital Status: Married or unmarried male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
- JCO (Naib Khateeb): Dars-e-Nizami certified by HEC + FA/FSc or equivalent. Proficiency in Arabic and Hafiz-e-Quran will be preferred. Age: 20 to 28 years (relaxation up to 35 years for serving army personnel with 1 to 16 years of service). Height: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm).
- Soldier (General Duty / Driver / Military Police): Minimum Matriculation or higher. Height: 5 ft 6 in (167.5 cm) for GD/Driver; 5 ft 8 in (173 cm) for MP.
- Soldier (Technical Trade): Minimum Matric Science (C Grade or higher). Height: 5 ft 6 in (167.5 cm).
- Soldier Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (C Grade or higher). Candidates with computer diplomas and higher education will be preferred. Height: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm).
- Soldier Cook: Minimum Middle. Experienced cooks preferred. Height: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm).
- Sanitary Worker: Uneducated up to Primary maximum. Height: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm). Age: 17.5 to 35 years.
Age Limits & Relaxations
- Soldier Trades Age: 17.5 to 23 years (as of 24 November 2026).
- Age relaxation of 1 year for candidates with graduation or higher qualification.
- Age relaxation of 2 years for legal heirs of martyrs or war wounded.
- Age relaxation of 3 years for candidates holding domicile of Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and merged KPK districts.
Required Documents
- Original educational certificates along with 2 attested photocopies.
- 4 passport-size photographs.
- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Smart Form-B.
- Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (State Subject for AJK candidates).
How to Apply
Online registration is available on the official website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from 01 September 2026 to 16 November 2026. Candidates can also register manually at their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RC) located in Gilgit, Peshawar, D.I. Khan, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Khuzdar, Turbat, Bannu, Pano Aqil, Hyderabad, and Karachi between 01 September 2026 and 23 November 2026.
