Applications are invited for various faculty positions at the Pakistan Institute of Ophthalmology, Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Rawalpindi.
Job Designations & Eligibility Criteria
- Professor / Associate Professor (Department of Optometry): PhD and relevant teaching experience. Candidate should meet AHPC/HEC criteria.
- Assistant Professor / Lecturer (Department of Optometry): MS/MPhil and relevant teaching experience. Candidate should meet AHPC/HEC criteria.
- Nursing Instructor (For Two-years Certified Nursing Assistant Diploma course): BSN / Post RN. Relevant teaching experience at least three years in a recognized institute.
- Dispensing Optician Instructor (For Two-years Post Matric Dispensing Opticianry Diploma course): BS Optometry & Orthoptics. Relevant teaching experience in a recognized institute. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in optical dispensing, including spectacle dispensing, lens selection and frame fitting.
- Operation Theater Technician Instructor (For Two-years Post Matric Operation Theater Technology Diploma course): BS Operation Theatre Technology / related discipline or equivalent. Relevant teaching experience in a recognized institution.
