NTS IIGS is for the studentsof General Science group. NAT-IGS is accepted for admissions to Bacehlor programs in Computer Sciences, Management and Social Sciences programs. MERIT ON NAT-IGS BASIS As NAT-IGS is accepted for a number of programs and by a variety of universities, hence major difference is observed in merit. But for Public Sector and Renowned Private universities, merit is more than 72%. But merit can be as high as 85% as in QAU for Management Sciences programs. However, students with more than 75 marks have good chances in most the universities. NAT-IGS PATTERN The test comprises of the following sections: Verbal Ability (20 MCQs) Analytical Reasoning (20 MCQs) Quantitative Reasoning (20 MCQs) Subject Knowledge (30 MCS in NAT-I and 40 MCQs in NAT-II paper) Mathematics 10 MCQs Economics 10 MCQs Statistics 10 MCQss BEST STRATEGY for Securing Admission As NTS is conducted every two to three months, so it is advisable to appear in NTS at least 3 times, to improve your marks. Even if you are a student with 90% marks, it is advised to appear at least twice in NTS so that you can sore maximum. So, it would be the best strategy to appear in NTS in December/January for the first time when you are in FSc Part-II so that you have enough time to prepare again if you cannot score required marks and have the time limit to appear in NTS at least two more times before admission deadlines of majore universities.
