Nuclear Physics The study of the quantum and relativistic physics at the scale of the atomic nucleus. The Nuclear Physicist is an expert in the process of nuclear reactions, radioactive fission, particle accelerators, and nuclear particle detectors and instruments. He will theorize about the structure and behavior of the atomic nucleus using quantum mechanics and particle models. He is interested in the nuclear phenomenon that occurs in atomic reactors and the interior of stars. He will be highly familiar with the fundamental operation of both nuclear reactors and weapons.
