The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) announces admissions for Foreign students. Applicants can contact The Foreign Students’ Advisor Office (FSA) at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF. SFA is dedicated to helping foreign students with the admission process and beyond. The office promotes internationalization at UAF by increasing the number of foreign student admissions to degree programs in agriculture and related sciences. FSA is committed to facilitating student mobility and administering international funding awards. We aim to foster an inclusive environment for foreign students at UAF.
Currently, we are hosting 102 foreign students from 9 different nationalities studying at UAF, including Afghanistan, Benin, Gambia, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Syria, Togo, UK. The students study in different degree programs at UAF under international scholarships/fellowships.
The UAF has seven faculties, 11 institutes, and ten directorates and has so many departments. Thanks to its 640 academic staff and 3000 administrative staff, including officials, it strives to serve students who are the future of Pakistan.
The Self-Finance Scheme/Scholarship aims to assist foreign students with educational aspirations in Pakistan. A limited number of seats are reserved for B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture and related disciplines.

- Four years of a graduate degree or above for an M.Phil./M.Sc. (Hons)
- Eighteen years of education for admission to the Ph.D. Program

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Documents will be required after provisional admission/selection:
a. Certificates / Marks Sheet of HSSC / equivalent examination attested/verified by IBCC.
b. Equivalence Certificate from Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Islamabad, where applicable
c. Verification of Foreign Passport by the concerned Embassy in Pakistan must be submitted in a sealed envelope.
d. Recent Photographs (pasted on each form).
e. Nomination letter or original NOC of the Embassy concerned to study in Pakistan
2. Selection of students against the seats allocated to foreign students will be finalized by the university’s competent authority
ADMISSION UNDER SELF-FINANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The Higher Education Commission Islamabad also aims to facilitate foreign students with all administrative aspects of their application and study in Pakistan, including applying to universities, obtaining a non-objective certificate (NOC), and securing a visa. Note the following instructions for applying to professional programs as foreign nationals.

- The FSA office will send the documents to the relevant offices for further processes like admission to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. The relevant offices dealing with the admission process are the Deputy Registrar (SR), with Undergraduate Studies, and the Director of Graduate Studies, responsible for the postgraduate admission process. Students through the admission process.
- After receiving an equivalence in BOS, admission to the relevant department will be offered. The relevant department will check the applicant’s transcripts and offer admission with deficiencies courses if necessary.
- The Foreign Students’ Advisor is responsible for informing international students about admission, facilitating enrollment formalities, helping students get admission, and facilitating the visa process through the HEC academic section. The Director of Academics at the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, issues a NOC letter to students on the advice of the university (Information Sheet) for visa purposes. The FSA also deals with HEC scholarship awardees and foreign students from different countries at UAF.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Foreign applicants should visit the University website at www.uaf.edu.pk and contact the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) by email or contact the Higher Education Commission. The University will send a copy of the admission offer letter to the HEC, confirming its receipt, and passing on an endorsement to the Ministry of Interior.
- The student can apply for a study visa with a Pakistani Embassy or Consulate in their country on behalf of the offer admission letter. They must submit the following documents:
- Application form (Student Visa Form)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Photograph
- All relevant transcripts, diplomas, and other educational documents
- University acceptance letter
- The Pakistani Embassy or Consulate abroad will then forward the complete application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, for further processing.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will forward the application to the Ministry of Interior for security clearance. The Ministry of Interior will consult with the Ministry of Education and the Higher Education Commission in this process. It must complete the clearance process within four weeks and submit its judgment on the matter to the United Nations. a) The HEC and b) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- The HEC must then notify the university concerned of the decision by email.
- Once issued, the visa must be renewed annually, adhering to the same security clearance process.
- The applicant can contact the FSA Office for any problems/difficulties faced during the visa process.
VISA RENEWAL
The UAF bears the responsibility of international students:
- Verifying the Visa Extension Form
- Issuing a Bonafide Student Certificate
- Recommending whether to extend the visa
The student must submit these documents to the concerned passport office (or mail to the Pakistani Embassy or Consulate if living abroad) for visa extension.
