Allama Iqbal Open University announces admissions to more than 80 academic programs for overseas Pakistani and international students in the spring semester 2025. These programs include Matriculation, FA, ICom, Associate Degree in (Arts, Commerce, Education), BS programs, and B.Ed (1.5, 2.5, and 4 years ). The university also offers admission to 12 diploma programs for international students.
AIOU offers these programs to international students through the online management system. All academic activities from admission to examinations will be online. MS Teams or a monitoring application approved by the authority will be used to monitor online examinations. The last date for admissions has been set as February 10. Admission applications can be submitted online at http://fmbp.aiou.edu.pk
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood has activated and empowered the International Collaboration and Exchange Office in the university, which is in constant contact with international students and provides them with comprehensive guidance.
The office also arranges sessions for newly admitted international students. Regarding the admissions of international students, Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood said that it is a matter of pride for us that 1007 students from 37 countries have already been admitted, and in the next five years, we have set a target of increasing this number to five thousand.
