Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU Islamabad has postponed its examinations being conducted across the country. The university postponed BA, Associate Degree, BS, Postgraduate Diploma, B.Ed, and MA MSc exams. A notification is also issued in this regard. All exams from November 26 onwards are postponed.
The decision is taken in a meeting chaired by vice-chancellor Zia-ul-Qayum. The examination department has also issued the notification after the meeting. This decision is taken after the Federal Government announced vacations in all educational institutions and to delay the exams for one month. However, online exams of overseas students in other countries shall be held as per schedule.
A new schedule of the postponed exams shall be issued after the reopening of educational institutions. Students will be issued new roll number slips after the schedule of exams is finalized. The roll number slips will be posted to students' addresses and students will also be notified through SMS.
