Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU Islamabad will no longer offer MA program from the next session. Admissions in the MA Program are open in this session, and this is the last time that the university is offering this program. From the next session, the BS program will be introduced.
The last date to apply for AIOU MA Program is October 15 and this is the last chance for anyone aspiring to complete his/her MA degree from Allama Iqbal Open University. However, it is unclear whether the university will offer admission to BA Degree holders in BS 5th semester or not.
Allama Iqbal Open University is Pakistan's largest university in terms of student enrollment. 1.6 Million students are registered with AIOU and are pursuing different programs ranging from Certificates, diploma courses, Matric, FA, BA to Ph.D. A large number of Government and private teachers are also enrolled with the university. The university's B.Ed program is very popular.
