Pakistan Medical Council has suspended all entry tests of the admitting Medical Universities in the country. it means that ETEA, NUMS, People's University's medical entry test and UHS MDCAT are postponed now. PMC will announce a uniform policy for admission to medical and dental colleges in Pakistan and shall conduct National MDCAT.
A notification on the PMC website reads, National MDCAT will be held by the Commission. The Schedule of the examination will be announced by the Commission immediately after 2nd October. All MDCAT’s by Admitting Universities as may have been scheduled stand cancelled.
Hence PMC will conduct a single entry test for admissions to all medical and dental colleges in the country. This entry test is named as National Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test National MDCAT. The dates of the test will be announced after PMC meeting scheduled to be held on October 02, 2020.
