Punjab Boards Matric Exams Important instructions are issued by the Board. Candidates appearing in the 9th and 10th class annual exams 2023 are required to read the instructions carefully and follow the procedures. In case of not follow the instructions, your paper might be canceled or you might even be issued a UMC. Hence it is important that each reads the instructions carefully and strictly follows these instructions.
It is necessary for every candidate to bring the original roll number slip with him for giving a daily paper. No sign or writing should be done on the roll number and the aspirant must sign his/her signature in the specified place on the roll number and this signature should be recorded on the answer sheet. 3- The candidate will appear for the morning paper at 8:00 am, at 1:00 PM for the evening paper, and at 2:00 pm on Friday in any case. Thorough Checking, Recitation, Naat will be recited before the start of the paper.
Candidates are instructed not to keep any relevant or irrelevant written material with them. During the search, if any material is found or any candidate is found cheating in any way, UMC will be registered against him. Bring your two recent passport-size photographs with you to the examination center after getting them attested by any headmaster or headmistress, hand over one to the center superintendent, and bring one with you to the center daily.
Extra Sheets will not be provided during the exams
Write carefully in 24 pages of answer copy, No extra sheet will be provided. Do not leave any pages blank. Do not enter any unnecessary words and cross the blank pages after finishing the paper. As soon as you receive the answer copy, check it immediately. Any answer copy that is torn must not be used and returned, no excuses will be accepted later.
Bubbles relevant to all the answers to the objective questions must be filled in the allotted time on the answer copy. Otherwise, the empty bubbles will be cut. Moreover, do not forget to write objective code on both sides of the answer copy. If there is any mistake in the roll number slip of a candidate in the subject, examination center, photo and practical, etc., then the aspirant should contact the Board and correct the roll number slip, otherwise, the aspirant will be responsible himself.
All the candidates must remember the dates of their practicals and keep the same roll number slip for practicals as well.
Use of Remover and Fluid is prohibited
Candidates will be allowed to use only their pen, scale, ink and blue marker, etc. in the examination hall and will not be allowed to exchange with any other candidate. Moreover, never use ink remover and fluid, etc. otherwise disciplinary action will be taken.
It is restricted for the candidate to give the paper only in his own session and at his allotted center on the scheduled date otherwise, the paper will be canceled and action will be taken as per the rules. If a paper is missed in any session, the candidate will be able to appear in the next annual examination only.
Enter your correct roll number on the answer copy and also fill in the two number-related bubbles otherwise, you will be responsible yourself. Candidates are not allowed to bring mobile phones.
Moreover, as per the rules, you may be expelled from the examination center by the supervisory staff other than the UMC for eavesdropping or using illegal means during the examination and you may be subject to action as per the rules.
The use of Calculators during Exams is allowed
It is allowed to carry a calculator in the examination (only in the relevant subjects) provided that it does not contain any device that would help the examination illegally. In the objective section of the question paper, the possible answers for each question are A, B, C, and D. Fill in the corresponding circle with the correct answer to each question from the given circles on the answer part of the answer copy by filling the circle.
