On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, the School Education Department announced the promotion of more than 14,000 teachers on Wednesday. Punjab Association of Subject Specialists organized a special event to celebrate the promotion. Provincial Education Minister Mansoor Qadir and Secretary Maqbool Ahmed also participated in the ceremony.
Secretary of School Education Maqbool Ahmad Dhaula said that working papers have been prepared for the promotion of 8 thousand teachers in the first phase. Provincial Minister of Education Mansoor Qadir said that thousands of teachers are getting the promotion because of Mohsen Naqvi.
A large number of teachers participated in the event to celebrate. PASS Chairman Rana Ata Muhammad said a big issue of teachers has been solved as thousands of subject specialists across Punjab were waiting for promotions for a long time. At the end of the ceremony, Provincial Education Minister Mansoor Qadir and Maqbool Ahmed Dhaula were presented with souvenirs.
