Higher Education Department of the Government of Punjab decides to shorten the Intermediate syllabus due to the corona lockdown. As intermediate classes started with a delay of over 3 months, HED has set up a committee to prepares recommendations to shorten FA FSc Syllabus.
Matric smart syllabus is already announced. HED has issued instructions to the Textbook board to start working on syllabus reduction. This is pertinent to mention here that the intermediate syllabus is very long. Students have to prepare more than 12 chapters for Chemistry and Mathematics in Part-I and similarly, the syllabus of English and biology is also very lengthy.
For this purpose, a committee headed by MD Textbook Board has been set up in which the formula for shortening the syllabus will be determined and the committee will submit its recommendations to the Punjab government. ۔
