The National University of Medical Sciences NUMS has announced the registration schedule for the NUMS MDCAT 2024. NUMS entry test is required for admissions to Medical and Dental colleges affiliated with NUMS. Registration shall start on Thursday, June 20, 2024. The last date to apply for NUMS MDCAT 2024 is July 10, 2024. NUMS MDCAT 2024 shall be held on Sunday, September 01, 2024.
NUMS MDCAT Entry test 2024 shall be conducted in Pakistan as well as in International centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Test timings for International test centers shall be indicated on admit cards. The candidates can select any of the cities for appearance in the entrance test.
NUMS MDCAT 2024 Schedule
The candidates can register online for the NUMS Entry test as per the following schedule:

National University of Medical Sciences shall conduct a Medical Entrance Test for admissions to MBBS/BDS programs in affiliated Public and Private Sector Medical I Dental colleges/Institutions for session 2024-25, on Sunday, September 01, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. Fee for the entry test is Rs. 5200/-

NUMS MDCAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group or Equivalent Examination (e.g., A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) . However, those awaiting results can also apply. Mere appearance in NUMS MDCAT does not confer the right to apply for or claim.
The syllabus of the NUMS MDCAT 2024 is available on the NUMS website. The candidates are advised to prepare for the test according to this syllabus from their textbooks.
NUMS Entry Test 2024 Pattern
NUMS MDCAT shall comprise two parts:
PART A
Part-A shall carry 95% weightage of the NUMS Entry test 2022. Par-A shall consist of 150 MCQ questions with a stipulated time of 150 Minutes with the following breakdown:
- Biology = 35%
- Chemistry = 25%
- Physics = 25%
- English = 10%
The Psychological Test Comprising 100 MCQs with a stipulated time of 30 Minutes.
The duration of the test shall be 150 minutes (02 hours & 30 minutes) and the total marks shall be 200.
There shall be no negative marking.
After the 150 minutes of MDCAT, students will have to take a 30-minute aptitude test. It is mandatory but will not have any effect on the order of merit.
