NUST has announced the schedule of Entry Test NET for undergraduate admission in 2024. Online registration for NET-4 shall start on April 14, 2024, and the last date to apply for NET series 4 is June 14, 2024. The entry Test shall start on June 24, 2024.  NUST is offering following new UG programs from Fall 2024.

• BS Artificial Intelligence at SEECS, Islamabad
• BS Environmental Science at SCEE, Islamabad

Candidates are required to submit the basic information at https://ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk to access the application form for 4th series of the NUST Entry test NET. On submission of the duly completed application form, candidates are required to print fee invoices and deposit the application processing fee as prescribed in the invoice in any online branch of Habib Bank Limited. 

How many times you must appear in NUST Entry Test NET?

It is advisable to appear at least twice in NET so that you have the chance to improve your marks. After all, the best result of NET will be counted for merit list preparation for NUST Undergraduate admissions. Hence you must appear at least twice in NET to maximize your chances of admission. 

For Candidates of NET-2024

• Computer-based Tests will be conducted in Islamabad from 24 Jun 2024 onwards.
• Computer-based tests at the Quetta campus shall be conducted on July 27-28, 2024.
• Paper-based tests in Karachi will be conducted on 19-21 July 2024.
• Paper-based tests in Gilgit shall be conducted on 21-22 July 2024.
• Candidates having HSSC with Mathematics as one of the major subjects will be eligible to apply for Computing Programmes (BS Computer Science, BS Data Science, BS Bioinformatics, and BS Artificial Intelligence)
• Foreign nationals (Non-Pakistani) can also apply on the basis of NET in addition to ACT/SAT basis. For details, please visit International Students.
• As per HEC directive, all candidates including Matric / FA / FSc Stream have to get their educational documents attested by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), Pakistan before submitting the same to the university at the time of admission.

NUST Registration for ACT / SAT basis 2024

Registration will commence in May 2024. Candidates who have registered for the ACT/SAT-based application form have to provide ACT/SAT scores as per the following:-

The NUST institutional code to receive an ACT score is 2915. The NUST institutional code to receive an SAT score is 2790. ACT / SAT scores are valid for two years.
