The decision to open schools for middle classes in Sindh from September 21 has been postponed. Schools were to be opened from sixth to eighth. Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani while addressing a news conference said that SOPs have not been fully implemented hence Sixth to eighth classes are not being opened from September 21.
Saeed Ghani said that he will talk to the Federal Minister of Education. If the situation seems to be deteriorating, then we should not wait for the NCOC meeting. We should also decide on our own considering the situation. But there is no compromise on children's health; we will not stop the flow of online classes despite the opening of schools.
Saeed Ghani said that the situation is likely to worsen when other classes are also called, so the decision to open secondary classes from 21st has been postponed till 28th September and if the situation remains the same, schools We will further delay the decision to open.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that the issue of opening schools in Sindh would be reviewed, adding that the Sindh government would not compromise on the health of its children while contacting the federal government in this regard.
