University of Health Sciences UHS Lahore has allowed students appearing in special exams 2021 to apply for MBBS and BDS admissions 2021 in Punjab. Students awaiting results may now apply from November 12 to November 22, 2021. Such students will select the option of ‘Result Awaiting’ in the online portal of UHS and will re-enter their marks after their result is announced.
Merit list will be prepared provisionally and FSc marks of all students awaiting results will be considered as 100% for provision merit calculation. But after the result announcement, students will have to enter their marks and their merit will be re-calculated based on their marks obtained in special exams 2021. Such students will be downgraded to medical colleges as per their original merit.
In compliance with the directions of Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), those candidates who are awaiting their delayed HSSC Special Examination or A-Level (November 2021 Series) Examination result are also allowed to apply for admissions this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic provided they fulfill all other eligibility requirements as laid down in the Prospectus for the Session 2021-2022 (available at the Official Website of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore: www.uhs.edu.pk). The procedure and conditions shall be as follows:
These ‘delayed result candidates’ shall apply online through the Application Portal Link (http://www.bop.com.pk/UHS-2021/Login.aspx) with other candidates as per notified procedure and schedule (i.e. from Friday, 12th November to Monday, 22nd November 2021). No application shall be accepted after the due date (i.e. Monday, 22nd November 2021).
A checkmark with the option of “Yes/No” has been provided in the application form for such candidates. When they check “Yes”, they will not be able to enter their HSSC/equivalent exam marks. Still, they can submit their application through a statement of ‘no aggregate percentage’ that will appear on the top of their application. Their application shall remain incomplete till the submission of the HSSC/equivalent result. iii. In order to prepare Provisional Merit Lists and Provisional Selection Lists, it will be assumed that the ‘delayed result candidates’ have 100 percent marks in HSSC/equivalent exam. They will be placed with other candidates in the colleges on the basis of their ‘provisional aggregate percentage’ and ‘order of preference’. It shall, however, in no way entitle those candidates with delayed results to such a percentage and their admission in any medical or dental college shall only be determined on the basis of their marks secured in the HSSC Special Examination or A-Level (November 2021 Series) Examination. These „delayed result candidates‟ shall NOT deposit fees in any medical or dental college where they shall initially be placed on PROVISIONAL BASIS ONLY.
The ‘delayed result candidates’ provisionally admitted to any medical or dental college, shall be required to submit their HSSC (Pre-Medical) Special Examination or A-Level (November 2021 Series) Examination results online as per the procedure prescribed by the University by Sunday, 6th February 2022. Failure to submit HSSC (Pre-Medical) Special Examination or A-Level (November 2021 Series) Examination marks and supporting documents within due date i.e. by Sunday, 6th February 2022, shall result in the cancellation of provisional admission of such candidates.
After submission of HSSC (Pre-Medical) Special Examination or A-Level (November 2021 Series) Examination results, the actual aggregate percentage of these candidates will be calculated and they will either be re-adjusted in respective colleges or placed on the waiting list strictly as per their merit.
