The day will kick off with a school assembly on the sports field led by Emirati student leaders, followed by an array of class-based activities. Students will participate in creating a timeline showcasing the growth of the emirates and constructing traditional fishing boats for a hands-on experience of the Social Studies curriculum.
Many schools are organizing a UAE food festival, providing an opportunity for students, families, and staff to enjoy traditional Emirati dishes. Deepika Thapar Singh, CEO-Principal at Credence High School, Dubai, expressed, "Parents are setting up stalls, alongside fun games, henna, and music for all to enjoy.
