University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar has announced the schedule for ETEA Engineering Entry Test 2023 for admissions to Engineering programs in KP Universities and Colleges. Candidates seeking admission to Public and Private Sector Engineering Universities/Colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shall have to pass the centralized Engineering Entrance to be conducted by Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA). Candidates seeking admission to Private Sector Engineering Universities/Colleges can also participate in this centralized test.
As per the approved policy decision of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), two separate entrance tests will be conducted, and the best of the results will be taken for admission.
Candidates should fill out the online registration form at https://etea.edu.pk for each test on payment of Rs.700/- per test (non-refundable). Roll No slips will be issued one week before each test. After the announcement of the Entrance Test Results, candidates will be required to submit an online admission form as per the admission schedule to be announced by the respective universities.
Candidates who have passed the Intermediate (Pre-Engineering/Computer Science or Pre-Medical with additional Maths) examination from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Pakistan, or an equivalent examination, and have obtained at least 60% un-adjusted marks, with a combination of subjects Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/Computer Science.
Candidates who have passed a three-year post-matric Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or B-Tech exam and have obtained at least 60% un-adjusted marks.
Candidates who have passed the intermediate (Pre-Medical) examination from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Pakistan, or an equivalent examination and have obtained at least 60% unadjusted marks are eligible only for Bio-Engineering or Bio-Medical Engineering. Result-awaited candidates are provisionally allowed to appear in the Entrance Test.
