GB Government Scholarship for Female students

 

The Government of Gilgit Baltistan announces a scholarship program for female students enrolled in the 9th class. The prime objective of the foregoing scholarship program is to provide sustenance and supped in promoting female education at Secondary and Higher Secondary Levels because the girls of hard areas are without access to the basic need of getting an education, especially at the secondary and higher secondary levels.

Secondly, District Diamer is facing an acute shortage of Female Human Resources to serve in the field of education, therefore, this project will adopt 25 girls in SSC-I from remote areas of the adjacent valleys where facilities for the continuation of SSC and HSSC education are unavailable.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Those female students will be eligible for scholarship who are permanent residents of hard areas of District Diamer where no access to SSC & HSSC level education is available.
• Female students who are already enrolled in SSC-I in any Government Educational Institution across GB may apply and their admission form must be endorsed by the Head of the respective institution.
• The project will adopt 25 girl students in SSC-I in the 1st Year.
• GB government will finance each nominated/selected girl student in the form of a scholarship @8000- per month.
• These selected students will continue their education till completion of FA/F.Sc.
• 85% attendance is mandatory in the educational institutions where they got admission.
•  The surety bond shall be required from the parents, and guardians to continue their education and serve GB Govt. in their vicinity for 03 years after completion of education if required/appointed.
• The final selection will be made on the basis of the lowest Monthly Income, Previous academic progress, and test/interview.

• Applications along with the following documents must reach to the undersigned within I5 days of publication of this advertisement.
• Application Form (available in DDE Office Diamer, Chiles)
• ID card parents.
• Domicile of parents.
• Admission certificate where the girl student is admitted.
• Form-B.
•  Surety Bond (gt Rs. 10 must be attested from I" Class Magistrate Chiles
• Four passport-size photographs.
