Karachi Shipyard Engineering MS Scholarships

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited offers fully-funded Scholarships for Masters in Naval Architecture at NUST Karachi. Karachi shipyard and engineering works will fund the tuition fee, admission fee, security deposit, and hostel fee. Additionally PKR: 25000/- monthly stipend will be given to the selected candidates.

The selected candidates will have to serve Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works for 08 years after the completion of the degree. Interested candidates are advised to appear in GAT as per NUST Schedule. Candidates will apply to NUST. Candidates shortlisted by NUST will be called for interview at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited. Karachi Shipyard and Engineering works will finalize the selection procedure.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Maximum Age: 26 years
• BE in
  • Naval Architecture
  • Marine
  • Mechanical
  • Mechanical and Manufacturing
  • Automotive
  • Industrial and Manufacturing from HEC recognized university.
• 16  years of education or 4 years of relevant education after HSSC/A-level
• Minimum 60% marks
• c. GAT (General) conducted on or after 01 May 2021 till Jun 2023 by NTS or HAT conducted by HEC on or after May 2022 till Jun 2023 with at least 50 accumulative test score or GRE (General) conducted by ETS, USA, with following minimum score, separately in each section:
• Description: 
  • Quantitative: 151/170
  • Verbal: 146/170
  • Analytical Writing: 3.5/6.0

Terms and Conditions:

Selected candidates will be offered the Scholarship covering tuition fees, admission processing fee, security deposit and hostel fee (if applicable) for MS (Naval Architecture) program and a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000/- only. All other expenses will be born by the individual

The individuals availing scholarship will be required to serve at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd, for a minimum period of 8 years upon completion of the MS program.

In case the performance of a selected individual is found unsatisfactory during the MS program. The scholarship will be withdrawn forthwith and the individual will be liable to refund all expenses and overheads incurred on the scholarship (not exceeding Rs. 3.0 Million). d. No objection certificate (NOC) will be required from the existing employer (if already employed).

e. No TA/ DA will be admissible
