WHO have delisted 8 medical schools / universities of china. Now the MBBS degrees offered by these medical schools will not be recognized around the world. Around 300 Pakistani students were also studying in these medical schools.
Students had paid millions of rupees to these universities and now after the medical schools being delisted by WHO, their degrees shall not be recognized anywhere in the world. A number of students from Pakistan go to China for Medical studies as the merit in Pakistani Medical colleges is very high. Students find it easy to go to china to fulfill their dreams of becoming a doctor. Most of these students are unable to practice in Pakistan due a number of issues like degree recognition, PMDC Exams etc…
Following universities/medical schools of China are delisted:
- Beijing University of Chinese Medicine
- Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine
- Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Shanxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
