Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU has decided to conduct the workshops of the students online. All workshops of the spring semester shall be conducted online. The decision is made to ensure the safety of the students and staff. However, the university has not yet decided about the Fall semester workshops.
AIOU has activated the Learning Management System LMS to conduct online workshops. All postgraduates students are being informed through SMS and their login details are also sent for LMS. An introductory video of LMS is also available on AIOU website. All students are hereby informed to appear in Online Workshops though Aagahi LMS Portal. AIOU has already cancelled examinations and passed all students based on assignment marks. Also, the decision regarding the next examinations of the university is under consideration. It is expected that the next exams may also be cancelled if the situation does not get any better in due time.
AIOU has also extended the last date for admission. Admission forms can now be submitted latest by June 05, 2020. Students can send their admission forms through post office as the main campus and all regional offices of the university are closed till May 31, 2020/
