The District Benevolent Funds Board Sargodha has approved a total of Rs. 4 crore 27 lakh worth scholarships for the children of Government employees and high merit students. A total of 2 thousand 337 cases were presented in the board, out of which 648 cases were rejected due to incomplete documents.
District Benevolent Fund Board meeting was held in the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Arshad Ahmed Watto.
In the meeting, a total of 1,522 cases of children on Government employees who have scored less than 90% marks were presented. Out of these out of these 965 cases were approved. 467 students will be awarded with Rs.88,000 each, 494 students will be given Rs.66.000 while 5 students will receive 55 thousand rupees scholarships.
A total of 815 cases of meritorious students who secured more than 90% marks were presented to the board, out of which 721 meritorious students who met all the rules and regulations were approved. These high merit students will be awarded PKR: 55,000 each.
