FBISE Announces Matric Second Annual Exams Date Sheet 2026

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has released the date sheet for the SSC Part I and Part II Second Annual Examination 2026.

According to the schedule, the examinations will begin on September 24, 2026, and will include students of both Class 9 and Class 10. The schedule also covers written examinations as well as Practical-Based Assessments (PBA).

FBISE issued the date sheet on September 1, 2026, giving students time to prepare according to their respective subjects and paper codes.

FBISE Matric Exams 2026 Timings

Students appearing in the second annual examinations must reach their examination centres by 2:00 PM.

The evening papers will start at 2:30 PM and continue until 5:30 PM. Candidates are advised to reach their centres before the reporting time and carefully follow the instructions given on their roll number slips.

SSC Part II Exam Schedule

The first major SSC Part II papers will start on September 24. Chemistry-II and General Mathematics-II are scheduled for the opening day.

Some of the important Class 10 papers are:

• September 24: Chemistry-II and General Mathematics-II

• September 26: Physics-II and other listed subjects

• September 28: English-II

• September 30: Islamiyat-II and Ethics-II

• October 2: Pakistan Studies-II

• October 6: Biology-II and Computer Science-II

• October 9: Mathematics-II and General Science-II

• October 16: Urdu-II

The complete date sheet contains additional subjects, old-course papers, HIC subjects and new-pattern papers with separate paper codes.

SSC Part I Papers to Begin on September 25

For SSC Part I students, the main examinations will start on September 25 with Biology-I, Computer Science-I and Electrical Wiring-I.

Key Class 9 papers include:

• September 25: Biology-I and Computer Science-I

• September 29: Chemistry-I

• October 1: Urdu-I and Geography of Pakistan-I

• October 3: Translation of the Holy Quran-I, Ethics-I and Islamiyat-I

• October 5: English-I

• October 8: Physics-I

• October 12: Mathematics-I

• October 15: Pakistan Studies-I and relevant religious education papers

Students should check the exact subject and paper code on their roll number slips because the date sheet includes different examination schemes.

FBISE Practical and PBA Schedule

The 2026 second annual schedule also includes Practical-Based Assessments for subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science.

According to the schedule, some PBA examinations are specifically for failure and improvement candidates and have a duration of 45 minutes. Combined PBA examinations for certain science subjects may last up to two hours.

The practical examinations for other subjects are scheduled to start from October 27, 2026.

Important Instructions for FBISE Students

Students appearing in the SSC Second Annual Examination should carefully review their date sheet and roll number slips before the exams.

Candidates are required to report to their centres on time. FBISE has also prohibited students from taking mobile phones, smartwatches and similar electronic devices into examination centres.

Students should also confirm whether they are appearing under the old course, new pattern, HIC or another applicable scheme to avoid confusion about their paper dates.
