The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has revised the schedule for the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027.
According to a public notice issued by the commission on August 19, 2026, the CSS 2027 MPT will now be conducted on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
The preliminary test was earlier scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026. FPSC decided to change the date after a protest was announced for September 27.
The commission said the rescheduling has been made to facilitate candidates and ensure the examination is conducted smoothly and in an orderly manner.
FPSC has clarified that only the examination date has been changed. All other terms, conditions, and arrangements previously announced for the CSS 2027 MPT will remain unchanged.
Candidates preparing for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027 are advised to note the revised date and make their preparations accordingly.
