Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar announced that the government has allocated Rs 80 billion for youth. PKR 10 billion is allocated under Prime Minister Youth Programme (PMYP) for youth loans in Federal Budget 2023-24. PMYP will utilize the budget for the provision of small loans to the youth to establish their businesses in the Federal Budget 2023-24.
The Finance Minister made these remarks while presenting the Federal Budget 2023-24 here at the National Assembly. He said the government has allocated Rs 5 billion under Prime Minister Youth Skills Programme (PMYSP) to impart specialized training to make skilled and trained human resources.

Senator Ishaq Dar said that empowering youth financially is the top priority of the government. He said that youth are our future leaders. The program will help them set up their businesses and will also encourage them to innovate and come up with brilliant new ideas.
The minister said that the youth are playing an important role in the development and prosperity of the country.
