The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, in its recent inspection of the University of Lakki Marwat, on September 21, 2023, has observed serious irregularities and flagrant violations/non- adherence to HEC's guidelines/criteria/polices that are adversely affecting the quality of education being imparted by the University of Lakki Marwat, Lakki Marwat.
Accordingly, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has completely banned the University of Lakki Marwat from announcing fresh admissions and granting affiliations. Therefore, all the stakeholders are being cautioned not to take admission or seek affiliation with the University of Lakki Marwat, Lakki Marwat.
Moreover, it is publicly announced that there is a country-wide ban on granting of fresh affiliations by all public sector universities as well vide this office letters No. 15(18)/A&A/Acc/HEC/2022/327; dated 23-02-2023; & No. 15(18)/A&A/Acc/HEC/2022/460; dated 19-06-2023.
