The permission is granted to collect monthly fees and to pay the salaries to the staff members. However, private schools cannot start any academic activity.
The directorate also issued SOPs for the schools during opening of the schools. Schools will follow Government instructions and take precautionary measures for the safety of the employees. Schools will have to provide masks and sanitizers to the admin office staff. Schools will have to make sure that sanitizers are available at entry and exit points of the schools.
No student will be called by any school owner to deposit fees, the SOPs read. All the private schools were also directed to grant concessions in the tuition fees, so that the parents could easily pay fees. The admins are directed to deal with each case separately.
