Lahore, Pakistan: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has officially announced the ECAT 2026 Phase-II results and released the admission schedule for undergraduate engineering programs for the 2026 academic session.
According to the university, candidates who appeared in the second phase of the Engineering College Admission Test (ECAT) can now check their results online. The announcement marks the beginning of the undergraduate admission process for one of Pakistan's leading engineering institutions.
Undergraduate Admission Schedule
UET Lahore has also opened admissions for undergraduate degree programs. Eligible candidates are required to submit their online admission applications by July 15, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
The admission process includes online registration, submission of required academic documents, and payment of the prescribed application fee. Merit lists will be prepared based on ECAT scores, academic performance, and the university's admission policy.
ECAT 2026 Phase-II Top Position Holders
The university announced the names of the highest-scoring candidates in ECAT Phase-II:
- Farheen Fatima secured first position with 360 marks.
- Muhammad Hassan claimed second position by scoring 356 marks.
- Muhammad Ibrahim, Wajeeha Amir, and Umar Asim jointly secured third position, each obtaining 352 marks.
The outstanding performance of these students reflects the highly competitive nature of the engineering entrance examination.
More Than 24,000 Candidates Appeared
According to UET Lahore, a total of 24,288 candidates participated in the ECAT 2026 Phase-II examination, highlighting the growing interest among students seeking admission to engineering and technology programs across Punjab.
The ECAT remains one of Pakistan's most important entrance examinations for engineering admissions, serving as a key component of the merit calculation for public-sector engineering universities.
