The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), a bi-national Commission, is pleased to announce the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. This non-degree program is designed for mid-career (5-15 years of relevant experience) professionals and consists of 10-12 months of graduate-level, non-degree academic coursework and an opportunity to work in the United States in the relevant field. In addition to academic work, persons selected for this program are expected to share information about Pakistani life and culture with their U.S. colleagues and community groups in the United States. On returning to Pakistan, Humphrey grantees are expected to share their U.S. experience with colleagues and community groups in Pakistan. Successful candidates should be poised to assume leadership positions in their fields and must be committed to returning and serving Pakistan. Fully Funded Hubert H Humphrey Fellowship USA Overview Levels: Masters Fields: All Fields Type International Category Merit Based Area All Pakistan Deadline18-04-2023 Hubert H Humphery Fellowship Eligibility Successful applicants must be Pakistani citizens residing and working in Pakistan, with a minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional/work experience, coupled with 16 years of formal education and a guarantee of re-employment upon return to Pakistan. Applicants must possess a high level of fluency in spoken and written English. Applications will not be accepted from university teachers or researchers with no management experience or similar responsibilities, those who attended graduate school in the United States in the past seven years, or who have had long-term U.S. experience within the past five years. Also ineligible are persons with dual U.S./Pakistan nationality or who have a spouse, fiancé, parent, or child over the age of 18 who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Employees of the Fulbright organization, the U.S. Department of State or USAID, and their spouses, children, fiancés, siblings, dependents, and parents are also ineligible.
