HEC Undergraduate Scholarships for Balochistan and Erstwhile FATA

HEC has announced undergraduate scholarships for students of Balochistan and FATA. The Higher Education Commission HEC announces Indigenous Scholarships Batch-II of ‘Provision of Higher Education Opportunities for the Students of Balochistan & FATA (Phase-III Batch-II) for Undergraduate Studies in All Disciplines.

Applications are invited from candidates having local certificates/Domicile of Balochistan or erstwhile FATA for the award of Scholarships for Undergraduate Studies in HEC-Recognized Public Sector Universities degree Awarding Institutions or W-Category Private Universities of Pakistan. The Last date to apply for the Balochistan and FATA Scholarship is November 20, 2023.

HEC Undergraduate Balochistan & FATA Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants Must Possess local Certificate/Domicile of Balochistan/FATA.
• Candidates must have completed a 12-year education with 60% marks in FA/FSc/ICom/ICS/DAE or equivalent.
• The maximum age limit is 22 years as of the Closing date.
• Candidates must acquire the requisite academic qualifications on or before the closing date.
• Candidates who are already availing of any other HEC/Government Scholarship are NOT eligible to apply.

HEC Balochistan and FATA Undergraduate Scholarships  Covers:

• The average tuition fee and other charges including hostel fees up to Rs. 60,000 per semester/year.
• Living allowance of Rs. 6,000 per month with Rs. 500 annual increments.
• Book allowance of Rs. 5,000 per annum.
• A travel allowance of Rs. 5,000 per annum.
• Initial settlement allowance of Rs. 10,000 once during the entire study period.

How to Apply for HEC Undergraduate Scholarship:

• Applicants are required to submit online applications through the HEC website www.hec.gov.pk/site/bf3.
• Hard copies of the documents are not required at this stage. The applicant has to deposit the application processing fee PKR: 500/- is to be deposited via 1Link 1Bill invoice participating Bank/ATM/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Easypeise/JazzCash/Upesa
• Once you have selected the link bill invoice payment invoice. Open /sign into your mobile app and click on Bill payment of payment services (as per your mobile banking app options). 
• Click on Bill Invoice payment services and enter the consumer number generated by the application portal. Once you see the details pay the amount. 
• After depositing the fee through link 1Bill Invoice, click on Verify Online Payment on the application form. The candidates must get their queries/complaints resolved before the closure of the web registration portal. Queries/complaints. 
• The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• The applicant must submit the online application after completing the application form. Saved and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
• HEC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scholarship process at any stage without assigning any reason.
