The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) has opened registrations for the Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program for students holding Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) domicile. Eligible students enrolled in selected BS, Medical, Dental, and public college programs can now apply online through the official scholarship portal.
The Honhaar Scholarship is a merit-cum-need based initiative that aims to help deserving students continue their higher education by reducing the financial burden of tuition fees.

Honhaar Scholarship for AJK Students
According to the official announcement, new registration is now open for students from Azad Jammu and Kashmir who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and are studying in eligible institutions and disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Hold a domicile of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
- No age limit applies.
- Both male and female students are eligible.
- Monthly family income must be less than Rs. 350,000. Applicants must submit an affidavit on E-Stamp paper as proof of income.
- Must be enrolled in a BS degree program in selected disciplines at a Public University, Public College, or Medical & Dental College from the Fall 2025 session onwards.
