Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) programs offers a Fully Funded Exchange Program to the USA for Pakistani English Teachers employed in Government Schools or Foundation run schools at the Secondary level. 50 English Teachers will go to the USA for 06 Months of training under this program.

Regional English Language Office (RELO Pakistan), U.S. Embassy, in collaboration with Vision-Building Future and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, is pleased to announce Pakistan Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program 2023. TEA provides outstanding in-service Pakistani secondary school English language teachers with a six-week academic program at a university in the United States.

Currently working full-time as a secondary-level English teacher in a government or foundation-run school that serves a primarily local (not expatriate) population (teaching classes from 6 to 10). Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (including BS and BA).

Eligibility Criteria for Teaching Excellence & Achievement (TEA)

  • Citizens and current residents of Pakistan
  • Secondary-level (6-10th grade) English teachers
  • Working full-time in a government or foundation school
  • Working in a school that serves a primarily local (not expatriate) population.
  • Two-year teaching experience
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree preferably in English subject.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continue teaching in Pakistan for at least five years after completion of the program.
