What is the Sindh School Education Scholarship Program (SSESP)?

The Sindh School Education Scholarship Program is a merit-based and need-based scholarship initiative designed to:

Since its launch in 2017, SSESP has helped thousands of students enroll in reputable institutions across Sindh.

For the academic year 2026–2027, the program is expanding its reach significantly.

Total Scholarships for 2026–2027

For this academic cycle:

• Total Scholarships: 820

• Scholarships for Girls: 360 (increased from 138 last year)

• Scholarships for Boys: 460

This increase reflects a strong focus on gender equity and youth development in Sindh.

What Does the SEF Scholarship Cover?

The Sindh Education Foundation scholarship is fully funded and covers the following expenses:

• Admission fees

• Tuition fees

• Examination fees

• Boarding and lodging facilities

• School uniforms

• School shoes

• Textbooks

• Monthly stipend

Eligibility Criteria for SSESP 2026–2027

To apply for the Sindh scholarship for Class VIII, students must meet the following requirements:

1. Must have studied consecutively for the last three years in Sindh.

2. Must be a permanent resident of Sindh.

3. Must not be older than 14 years.

4. Must be enrolled in a Sindh Government or SEF school.

5. Or must be a permanent resident of the respective district of Sindh.

6. Applicants from private schools are not eligible.

7. Annual family income must not exceed PKR 1,200,000 per annum.

Students must meet all criteria to qualify for the scholarship test and interview process.

SEF Scholarship Entry Test Details

Selection is based on:

• Entry Test (80% weightage)

• Interview (15% weightage)

• English – Minimum 60 marks

• Mathematics – Minimum 60 marks (25% weightage)

• Sindhi/Urdu – Minimum 60 marks (20% weightage)

• Science/General Knowledge – Minimum 60 marks (20% weightage)

Students must secure at least 60% marks to qualify for final consideration.

Required Documents for Application

Applicants must upload the following documents:

• Recent passport-size photograph

• PRC Form (F-Form) issued by NADRA

• Student B-Form

• Domicile and PRC of parents/guardian

• CNIC of parent/guardian

• Income certificate

• Verified parental/guardian consent

Incomplete or forged documents will result in cancellation of the application.

Important Conditions

• The scholarship is strictly for permanent residents of Sindh.

• Scholarships may be adjusted district-wise based on merit and availability.

• Any misrepresentation of information will lead to disqualification.

• No TA/DA will be provided for the entry test or interview.

The final decision by the SEF Scholarship Committee will be considered binding.
