ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced admissions for a new batch of online digital skills courses aimed at equipping students, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and job seekers with practical skills for the modern digital economy.
The courses are being offered through AIOU’s Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) in collaboration with iSkills and focus on helping participants build online businesses, generate income through freelancing, and improve their career prospects.
According to the university, admissions are now open for the following three specialized programs:
- E-Commerce and Business Automation
- YouTube Automation and Monetization (AI-Powered)
- Etsy Marketplace and Digital Products Business
The programs have been designed to provide hands-on, market-oriented training that reflects the latest trends in digital entrepreneurship and online earning opportunities.
Each course will run for three months, followed by an additional three months of post-training support. This support period will help participants implement their learning in real-world business, freelancing, and digital marketplace environments.
The fee for each course has been set at Rs. 15,000, while applicants must have at least a Matric qualification to be eligible for admission.
Training will be delivered by well-known digital skills trainer Tanveer Nandla and his professional team, who will provide practical guidance on digital business development, online marketing, automation tools, and monetization strategies.
According to the announced schedule, admissions opened on June 8, 2026, and the last date to apply is July 3, 2026. Classes for the first batch, Cohort-1, are scheduled to begin on July 10, 2026.
AIOU officials have encouraged students, young professionals, freelancers, and business owners to take advantage of the initiative and acquire in-demand digital skills that can help them succeed in Pakistan’s rapidly expanding online economy.
