Khyber Medical University KMU has announced the registration schedule for ETEA MDCAT 2020. ETEA MDCAT 2020 is compulsory for all students of KP who want to get admission in Medical and Dental Colleges of the province in MBBS or BDS. The candidates can select any of the cities on a first come first serve basis for appearance in the entrance test. There is no restriction on the selection of a city as far as domicile or the examination board is concerned.
ETEA MDCAT 2020 shall be conducted on September 20, 2020. The candidates must reach their respective centers at least one hour before the commencement of the test on 20th September,2020 (i,e.by 07 30AM). The centers will be sealed closed at 08:30"
The allocation of test center/hall will be communicated through SMS, media, and official website of the University.

Medical University, Peshawar shall conduct Medical Entrance Test through Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA), for admissions to MBBS/BDS programs in Public and Private Sector Medical I Dental colleges/Institutions for session 2020 21, on Sunday, 20th September, 2020 at 08:30 A.M.

ETEA MDCAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
It is Mandatory for candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Merged Area Districts (MAD), Overseas Pakistanis and Foreign Nationals to appear in KMU Medical Entrance Test 2020 for admission to any Public Sector Medical/Dental Colleges/institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or any Private Sector Medical/Dental Colleges/Institutions of Pakistan.
A candidate must have passed intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group or Equivalent Examination (e.g., A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) with m1inimum 65% unadjusted marks. However, those awaiting result can also apply.
Candidates seeking admission in KMU-Allied Health Sciences undergraduate programs having obtained minimum 60% unadjusted marks for DPT and 50% unadjusted marks for BS Nursing, BS Paramedics, BS Speech & Language Pathology and BS Occupational Therapy in F.Sc (Pre Medical)or equivalent examination should also appear in the entrance test.
Mere appearance in Medical Entrance Test does not confer the right to apply for or claim.
The syllabus of the Medical Entrance Test 2020 is available on the KMU website (http://kmuadmissions.pk).
The candidates are advised to prepare for the test according to this syllabus from their own textbooks.
KMU ETEA MDCAT 2020 Pattern
Medical Entrance Test shall comprise a single question paper containing 200 multiple choice questions {MCQs) divided into the following four (04) sections:
- Biology =80 MCQs,
- Chemistry = 60 MCQs,
- Physics =40 MCQs and
- English=20 MCQs
The duration of the test shall be 150 minutes (02 hours & 30 minutes) and the total marks shall be 200.
There shall be no negative marking.
There shall be question papers of different codes in which the sequence of questions and their responses shall be different from one another. The questions, however, shall be the same.
