The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has announced that its NUST Business School (NBS) has received accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The achievement places NBS among the top 6% of business schools around the world.
NUST shared the news through its official social media channels. The university described the accreditation as a major milestone for the business school and a significant achievement for higher education in Pakistan.
According to NUST, the AACSB accreditation reflects the university’s commitment to providing high-quality business education. It recognizes excellence in teaching, innovation, curriculum, research, and continuous improvement. The accreditation also confirms that NBS meets internationally accepted standards for business education.
The university congratulated its faculty members, students, alumni, and the entire NUST community for their contribution to this achievement. It said the recognition will further strengthen the university’s global reputation and create more opportunities for students and graduates.
AACSB is one of the world's most respected accreditation organizations for business schools. Only a small percentage of business schools worldwide meet its rigorous quality standards. Earning AACSB accreditation enhances the international recognition of a business degree and can improve academic collaborations, student mobility, and career prospects for graduates.
The latest achievement reinforces NUST's position as one of Pakistan’s leading universities and highlights its growing presence in the global higher education landscape.
