Pakistan Medical Commission has announced the pattern and curriculum of the National Medical and Dental College Admission Test MDCAT 2022. The curriculum is approved in the 12th meeting held on 27th June 2022 upon the recommendation of the National Medical & Dental Academic Board. The weightage of the subjects in MDCAT is changed.
As per details, 34% of questions in the MDCAT will be from Biology, 27% from Chemistry, 27% from Physics, 9% from English, and 3% from Logical reasoning. MDCAT paper shall consist of a total of 200 MCQs based on the approved percentage.

The number of questions in MDCAT 2022 from each subject will be as follows:
- Biology: 68 questions
- Chemistry: 54 Questions
- Physics: 54 Questions
- English: 18 Questions
- Logical Reasoning: 6 Questions
